  4. Summarize the treatment of children who are septic and the indications for blood product transfusion.
  5. Identify children at risk for acute kidney injury and review treatment modalities.
  6. Discuss the care of children with type 1 diabetes mellitus in the hospital setting.
  7. Evaluate skin and wound care for children who are hospitalized and nutritional support for those with severe burns.
