Anticipatory Guidance Continuing Education

So much is going to happen between birth and 21 years of age—for children, teens, and their families!

Start your age-based journey on anticipatory guidance with 3 new modules of PNCB CE.

Whether you’re new to pediatric nursing or want a refresher about how to structure proactive discussions with families to provide education, screenings, and assessments that nurture young lives, this module will support your daily practice. Providing anticipatory guidance is a core element of pediatric primary care, so this may be especially helpful for nursing professionals transitioning from hospital/acute care settings to primary care.

  • You earn 2 contact hours per module
  • The cost is $15 each for the CE activity.
  • Reference Information: Instead of PowerPoint slides or articles, this module's reference is a single cost-effective book, Bright Futures (4th edition) Guidelines for Health Supervision of Infants, Children and Adolescents (Pocket Guide), sold separately on The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) website. Textbook cost is $13.56 (before taxes/shipping) when you use the 20% discount code PNCBSAVE. PNCB does not receive any revenue from AAP for textbook purchases.
  • The pocket guide is used to answer the questions for all three modules.

We hope you enjoy these new learning activities!
