CPNP-AC Retesting Policies

Unsuccessful Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP) exam candidates will follow the retesting policies below beginning May 26, 2021 and beyond.

CPNP-AC exam candidates may test once in a window. There are no exceptions to this policy.

If it has been more than 12 months since your last exam attempt, the activities described in the below chart must have been completed within the preceding 12 months of your current exam application. If you are completing a review course to meet retest requirements, the review course must have been completed after your most recent testing experience.

Use this retest documentation form if submitting 15 contact hours per area of weakness. 

If you are unsuccessful on the CPNP exam on your 4th attempt or beyond, please contact PNCB at exam@pncb.org for requirements.
