KySS Online Mental Health Fellowship: Child and Adolescent

One out of four children and adolescents has a mental health problem, yet 80% receive no or insufficient treatment. Are you prepared to provide care for adolescents and children with mental and behavioral health issues?

Gain the expertise you need and earn 50.1 continuing education credits (including 2.65 hours of psychopharmacology) through The Ohio State University College of Nursing’s online course: KySS online mental health fellowship: Child and Adolescent.

KySS stands for “Keep Yourself Strong and Secure.” The program is designed to teach nurse practitioners to screen for, assess, and provide evidence-based management of common mental and behavioral health problems in children and adolescents.

Throughout the self-paced, 16-module program, interprofessional experts cover topics in mood disorders and suicide, psychopharmacology, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder and much more. An added value is that you will have an assigned expert mental health provider as a mentor/consultant during the program. Nurse practitioners who have taken this course have also found it beneficial in preparing for the Pediatric Primary Care Mental Health Specialist (PMHS) exam.

As a PNCB-certified nursing professional, you receive a 10% discount with the enrollment code: OSUCON=PNCB!2024
