Unable to test during your assigned 90-day testing windowThe 90-day testing window is assigned by PNCB. It starts the day your complete application is approved. You must schedule your exam and test within this timeframe. You are notified promptly by email and postcard when the window starts. If you do not schedule or test in this timeframe, you forfeit fees.? You can apply for an extension with the steps below.
|Step 1||Check dates. Candidates must complete the extension application 5 full
business days before the end of your initial 90-day testing period.
The extension can only be made if your testing period has not expired.

|Step 2||Cancel existing appointment. If you have already scheduled a testing date and time, it is your
responsibility to cancel your appointment with Prometric per their cancellation schedule
(5 full business days before scheduled exam) or you will forfeit all fees.

|Step 3||Confirm Prometric Cancellation with PNCB. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know you have cancelled with Prometric.|
|Step 4||Order extension. On receipt of request and fee, PNCB will notify you of your newly
assigned 90-day testing period, which begins on the day PNCB processes your extension order. You may then schedule your new testing appointment with Prometric.
