AMP Testing Centers

INDEPENDENT TESTING AGENCY

The Pediatric Nursing Certification Board, Inc. (PNCB) has contracted with Applied Measurement Professionals, Inc. (AMP) to assist in the administration of the PNCB's examinations. AMP is a leading provider of licensing and certification examinations for professional organizations.

EXAMINATION ADMINISTRATION

Examinations are delivered by computer at over 150 AMP Assessment Centers geographically located throughout the United States. The examinations are administered by appointment only Monday through Friday at 9:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. All available dates and times will be indicated when scheduling your examination. Candidates are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.

HOLIDAYS

The examinations are not offered on the following holidays:

• New Year's Day
• Martin Luther King Day
• Presidents' Day
• Good Friday
• Memorial Day
• Independence Day (July 4)
• Labor Day
• Columbus Day
• Veterans' Day
• Thanksgiving Day (and the following Friday)
• Christmas Eve Day
• Christmas Day
• New Year's Eve Day

POLICIES REGARDING NO-SHOW and LATENESS

A candidate who appears more than 15 minutes late for an examination may not be seated depending on circumstances at the AMP testing center. A candidate who fails to report for the scheduled examination may forfeit all exam fees. In all cases, no-show candidates and late candidates may re-apply for examination. The candidate is required to update the exam application and pay a re-application fee.
