Acute Care CPNP® Recertification Fees

Effective 10/1/07 through 12/1/07 for 2008 Recertification

We encourage you to complete your Recert application online. Online Recert is safe and secure, plus it offers:

If you prefer, paper forms are available for you to print, complete, and mail to the PNCB. We no longer mail paper forms.

Inactive Option*	$65	$75

* The Inactive option is not recommended but is included as a choice should you be faced with unusual circumstances that prevent you from completing an SAE or documentation. Only 1 year of inactivity is allowed within each 7-year cycle. More than 1 year of inactivity within a 7-year cycle will require you to forfeit previous participation and you will need to take the exam again to regain certification.

Change Order Fee

When choosing your Recertification option, consider your choice carefully. Changing your Recertification option after placing your order will require a $25 change order fee.

Late Fees

$75 - This fee is due if you recertify after the December 1, 2007 deadline.

Verification of Certification Fees

Each Recertification year, the PNCB will provide a one free standard verification of your CPNP® status to the State Board of Nursing associated with your RN license. To receive this free benefit, be sure to share your current RN license information when completing your Recertification enrollment application. For additional verifications, the following fees are in effect:

$25 - Standard Verification of Certification
$40 - Emergency Verification - processed within 2 business days following receipt of signed release and fee.
