Important Dates for the
Self-Assessment Exercise (SAE)

The deadline for 2011 Recertification Enrollment is December 31, 2010.

Beginning October 2010 (Upon Ordering): Access sent by email to those choosing any SAEs

• Beginning October 1st, individuals ordering SAEs will receive emails with access to the answering process. Be sure to check your spam or junk inbox for these automatically generated emails.
• You have 120 days from your date of purchase to complete the SAE.

Shipping of Printed Materials

• Your SAE will be shipped within 3-4 weeks of processing your order. The SAE will be shipped from the PNCB to street addresses in the US via UPS (United Parcel Service). Shipment to US post office boxes (P.O. Box), APO/FPO or Canadian addresses will be via the USPS (United States Postal Service) Priority Mail. Checks and money orders must be US currency and US banks only.

Scoring and Receipt of CE

• Scoring for the online answer method is immediate once you submit your answers online for final scoring. You will be emailed the Feedback Report (critiques) instantaneously.
• Your CE certificate will be emailed within 2 weeks of score processing. A copy of your CE certificate will also be uploaded to your PNCB account under My Documents.

SAE Completion Deadline

• Deadline for completing your SAE(s) depend on the format (final printed manual vs. fully online), order date, and number of SAEs ordered. For your personalized deadline dates, please refer to your instructional emails (sent upon ordering), or log-in at the upper right and visit My Online Prep/SAE/CE. Failure to return your answer sheet may jeopardize your certification status with PNCB.

Late SAE Completion

• You may extend your SAE deadline for 30 days with a $20 late fee per SAE. Extended access information will be emailed to participants.

Unsuccessful SAE

• Those failing to achieve a passing SAE score (70%) on first scoring will be given an additional opportunity to retest with questions related to the current SAE. Detailed information will be provided to those who need to retest.
