Trademarked Credentials - CPNP® and CPN®
The marks CPNP® and CPN® have been registered in the United States Patent and Trademark Office to the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board, Inc.
For individual pediatric nursing professionals, certification is an important credential that attests to the achievement of specialty knowledge beyond basic nursing preparation. Persons using the CPNP® and CPN® credential meet standards and tests of competency, skill and knowledge established by the PNCB. When listing your credential, however, you should not include the registration (®) mark.
CPN® and CPNP® are registered trademarks of the PNCB
and may only be used by those certified by this Board. Certificates and
recertification renewal cards will differentiate CPNPs® using CPNP®-PC
(Primary Care) or CPNP®-AC (Acute Care).
PNCB-certified nursing professionals work in a variety of roles and settings all over the United States and beyond.
