Cohen Children's Medical Center of New York (New Hyde Park, NY) took a multi-faceted approach to promoting certification.
Through leadership and educational support, on-going communication, review classes, On-site exams, MD-sponsored breakfasts the morning of exams and more, Schneider
increased their hospital-wide certification rate from 21 percent in December 2006 to a current rate of 45 percent!

Certification Advocate Awards: These annual awards recognize a CPN®,
a Primary Care CPNP®, and an Acute Care CPNP® who are outstanding advocates for certification at a local/hospital level,
regional or national level. Self-nominations are accepted, and the deadline is December 15th of each year. An updated application will be posted soon.
